Magnet Program

 

Sunland Elementary Gifted/ High Ability Magnet is nestled in the foothills of both the San Gabriel and Verdugo Mountains. The Magnet program is designed to meet the educational needs of our students through an active, creative, and challenging curriculum, which is based on the Common Core State Standards. Our teachers continually expand their knowledge base by attending trainings and seminars in all areas. Our goal is to enrich our students' knowledge and critical thinking skills, encouraging them to become life-long learners and well-rounded citizens in their community.
