Student Council

 

The student council provides Sunland students with an opportunity to be leaders in school-wide events. Throughout the year, the student council collaboratively work to help the school and the community by holding fundraisers and canned food drives. The council members get to experience the democratic workings of government. They develop organizational skills, speaking skills, and leadership skills. These Sunland Lions represent the school by practicing the Lion Laws: Be Safe, Respectful, and Responsible. The Sunland Student Council also provides all students with opportunities to show their school pride by holding Spirit Days.
